The consent rule
A match does not mean consent to message repeatedly, approach someone in private, share screenshots, discuss their identity with friends, or expect a date. A comfortable “no,” no reply, or changed mind must be respected immediately.
Built to resist guessing
Cooldowns, duplicate prevention, per-user limits, and request throttling make directory enumeration harder.
Self-picks are blocked
Identity-backed checks prevent choosing yourself or submitting the same pair repeatedly.
Reporting is taken seriously
Users can report harassment, coercion, impersonation, threats, or misuse through a clear, confidential reporting flow.
Access can be removed
Accounts involved in abuse may be restricted or removed. Serious campus safety concerns may be escalated through appropriate channels.
No emergency promise
bphc.social is not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or campus security directly.

You do not have to handle it alone.

Stop replying, leave the situation, and save relevant evidence if it is safe to do so.
2Report it
Use the in-app report option once accounts are live. Include only the details needed for review.
3Seek real-world help
For urgent or ongoing concerns, contact trusted people, campus support, campus security, or emergency services.
Curiosity should still feel safe.
